our story
Meet the remarkable family that breathes vitality and
adds significance to the enchanting Rainbow Ridge farm.
a lifetime project

The Denniss Family proudly acquired the Rainbow Ridge property in 2018, embarking on a mission to transform it into a true haven.
From the start, we focused on enriching the soil, turning it into a thriving foundation for nature’s growth.
We meticulously refenced 20 acres to ensure a secure and safe environment for our cherished horses.
Our vision continues to unfold, with plans to plough and seed half the property, establishing lush, horse-friendly pastures.
At the same time, we are improving water accessibility and quality across the land. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities, pushing us closer to our dream of making Rainbow Ridge Farm a true sanctuary for both horses and humans alike.
We invite you to be part of this incredible journey.

meet the family

Fay Denniss, approaching 90, is the beloved matriarch of our family, with a lifetime of remarkable experiences. She has been a bush mechanic, a compassionate nurse, a fearless adventurer, and a passionate explorer of Australia. Fay learned to drive at just 13, confidently handling everything from a school bus to a tank. Even now, she remains active, navigating the property on her trusty gopher to inspect fences and assist with upkeep. Her resilience, determination, and indomitable spirit continue to inspire everyone around her.
Elizabeth Woodall (Denniss), daughter of Fay, embarked on her journey with Rainbow Ridge Farm in 2018, driven by a vision of creating a cherished family home. She met Aaron in 2019, and they married in 2025. After an accomplished career in local government and community development, Elizabeth now dedicates herself full-time to Rainbow Ridge Farm. A published author, certified life coach, and practitioner in equine-informed awareness, she is passionate about continuous learning and is currently pursuing a Master of Leadership at Deakin University. Elizabeth also lends her expertise as a freelance writer, regularly contributing to the Dominating Diversity website.

Aaron Woodall, Elizabeth’s devoted life partner and trusted confidant, honed his mastery in shipbuilding before channelling his expertise into gunsmithing. With a lifelong passion for precision and craftsmanship, he now leads First Time Firearms and The Forge, where innovation and integrity define every endeavour. Explore the artistry and dedication that set his ventures apart.
Hamish Denniss, grandson of Fay and nephew of Elizabeth, is forging his own path at Rainbow Ridge, embracing the opportunities of this extraordinary property. With a keen interest in agriculture, he continues to expand his expertise through his full-time role at Boyup Brook Agriculture Supplies.

Aaron and Elizabeth are delighted to be passing on the mantle of Enviro Desalinators to our niece Annabelle Denniss and her partner in life and business, Austen Jarvis. Annabelle and Austen are full of enthusiasm and passion for the important work of water purification and quality. Their workshop will remain at Rainbow Ridge Farm with their office, service and sales base located in Fremantle. Annabelle has spent two years on the pearling trawlers off Darwin as well as completing a year driving heavy machinery on one of Western Australia’s mine sites in the northwest. Austen has completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering in Canada and has experience in roles involving pipeline systems, hydraulics, electrical and plumbing work, and a variety of installation projects.
